Marriage & Relationship Therapy

For couples on the threshold of disconnection, rediscovery, or a new way of loving.

△ The Architecture of Your Bond

Relationships rarely unravel because of a single argument. Perhaps you find yourselves returning to the same conflicts without resolution, struggling to communicate without defensiveness, or feeling increasingly distant despite the life you’ve built together. A rupture in trust, changing sexual desire, competing needs, or a major life transition may have altered the relationship you once knew.

I work with couples and intimate partners who long not simply to repair what feels broken, but to understand the deeper forces shaping their connection. My approach offers a grounded, emotionally attuned space where both partners can be seen, not merely as roles or patterns, but as full selves in relationship.

Together, we explore the architecture of your bond: the unconscious agreements, attachment histories, protective defenses, and inherited relational patterns that emerge through conflict. We examine how each partner’s emotional world influences the other, often revealing dynamics neither fully recognizes.

But we also uncover what remains luminous: your shared strengths, intimate history, enduring values, and the possibilities for connection that may have become obscured beneath years of misunderstanding or hurt.

△ Beneath the Patterns

Rooted in psychodynamic and Jungian depth psychology, my work integrates attachment theory, relational exploration, and somatic awareness. We attend not only to what is spoken, but to what unfolds between you: the subtle movements of closeness and withdrawal, the emotional responses beneath defensiveness, and the ways vulnerability can become entangled with fear, shame, or self-protection.

Recurring arguments may conceal deeper longings to be recognized, valued, or understood. Emotional distance may reflect protective patterns that once served a purpose but now interfere with intimacy. Changes in desire may invite questions about identity, autonomy, emotional safety, and the evolving nature of erotic connection.

Our work creates space to explore these experiences with curiosity rather than blame, allowing each partner to understand both their individual psychological landscape and the relationship they are continually creating together.

This is not a quick-fix model. It is sustained, transformational work that seeks to uncover not only what went wrong, but what still wants to live.

△ The Possibility of Rediscovery

Intimacy is not a static condition. It evolves as we evolve, shaped by our histories, our individual growth, and the inevitable changes that accompany a shared life.

Sometimes couples arrive hoping to rebuild trust following betrayal. Others seek to restore emotional or sexual intimacy, navigate differences in attachment or desire, or rediscover a connection that has gradually faded beneath familiar roles and responsibilities.

For some, the work involves learning how to remain together in a new way. For others, it means exploring difficult questions about compatibility, commitment, or the future of the relationship.

Whatever brings you here, our work invites honesty, emotional responsibility, and a deeper understanding of the psychological forces shaping your connection.

The intention is not to return to a former version of your relationship, but to discover what becomes possible when both people are met with greater awareness, truth, and care.
